| Server-Side Printing from ASP. | | |
Sponsor | ClubK | Oct 17, 2005 6:03pm | I want to create, in VB6, an Active-X DLL that will expose certain print services to a webserver as securely as possible from VB. I thought I would compile the webservers IP address into the dll and only allow printing service requests from that IP. Would restricting application handles also help? I don't know much but I thought others might.
I think that admins of the webserver could set permissions on the printer itself but in case they don't.
EDIT: Hmm, I guess application handles will be the browser itself. Not much help there. |
